Frontier Co-op's ground chipotle pepper is made of dried, smoked jalapeño peppers. These peppers have a smoky sweet flavor which is often used in Mexican and Southwestern dishes to add mild spice. The pepper's aroma is both intense and complex. It's become a great addition to dishes that have a little bite to them. There are no artificial additives used at any step of the manufacturing process of this chili pepper. Frontier Co-op's Chipotle Pepper is certified Kosher, non-GMO, non-irradiated and salt free. This chipotle pepper comes in a bulk 1-lb bag. We also offer a glass bottle of conventional chipotle pepper that can be refilled from this bulk bag.
